All the behaviors he supports that are contrary to scripture make him the anti-pope, the exact opposite of Pope John Paul II, that I respected greatly. He’s also a hypocrite, criticizing Trump for closing American borders while he’s protected by 40 Ft walls. There’s a reason no Jesuit has ever been made pope before.

Hey Ronnie, thanks for your comment! Pope Francis, like it or not, is the legitimate pope. There is no argument against that fact that holds water upon the slightest scrutiny.

Francis, Benedict XVI, and John Paul II have FAR more in common than most people realize, and that's a good thing.

Francis' letter to the U.S. Bishops specifically said "one must recognize the right of a nation to defend itself and keep communities safe from those who have committed violent or serious crimes while in the country or prior to arrival."

The Holy Father certainly has been a frequent critic of the United States, no question. But if one reads his letter in good faith, it's fairly clear that the point he's driving at is literally just reminding people to care for the poor and marginalized.

It's very appropriate. They go down the list and and they just come up. Only was you learn and not knowing about the bad ones, you don't learn much. Remember, popes aren't God. The current pope proves that alone. If you don't believe that, just ask the persecuted Catholics in China!!!
