The Catholic Church has been around for nearly 2,000 years and seen 264 men sit in the Chair of St. Peter as his successors (Francis is #266, but one guy was pope 3 times…)

That’s a lot of time for a lot of things to happen, and much of it is worth remembering.

Why?

Because the times we live in are growing increasingly chaotic and uneasy, and we need to remember that the Church and the world have both been here before.
